The well-cared-for Playa de la Arena with its fine black lava sand ranks among the most beautiful beaches of the island. It is situated in a pictorial bay, embedded between two wildly fissured lava tongues. The water is unusually clear here. |
| The municipality Santiago del Teide has created nice green belts and cosy walking ways around the beach and the purchase quarter. From here one has a wonderful view to the sea and the island Gomera. |

Los Gigantes -the Giants- the powerful, colourful steep rocks are called. From country they are accessible for experienced mountain climbers only, but one should absolutely experience this nature miracle from board of a boat. |

Next to the Giants the holiday settlement(also called Los Gigantes) extends. Innumerable Restaurants, Shops and fashion shops invite you for strolling.

In the port of Los Gigantes numerous boat trips start. The excursions lead to steep rocks and to whale and dolphin colonies, which live close to the port. It is also possible to see wild bays when desired. |
